Stage 6: Hazelbrook to Lawson via Terrace Falls Reserve & South Lawson Waterfall Circuit
11.1km +560m -500m (Allow 4-4.5 hours)
This stage is a relatively easy 4 to 4.5 hour walk of about 11km (including firetrails and roads) with a multitude of waterfalls, waterholes and pools along the creeks. They are not the most voluminous or tallest of falls but the hike is worthy of exploring – a pretty walk with plunge pools that would be great to revisit in hotter months for swimming.
I could list all the waterfalls for you but I am definitely becoming blasé… Suffice to say that the South Lawson Waterfall Circuit is popular for a very good reason – best done after rain. Combining this circuit with Terrace Falls Reserve, makes a longer walk connected easily with public transport.
