Every Wednesday morning when some are sound asleep A bonny group of lasses stir and through their homes they creep Unearth their hats, their sunnies, their walking poles too Cuppa tea, plus pitstop (‘cause there may not be a loo)…
We train weekly as a social group in a natural setting. Training is a combination of interval and endurance on bush tracks, with backpacks for added resistance. We train for a predictable time (2 or 3 hours) and generally cover at least 10km and 500m ascent.
